LaGuardia Foundation Named Scholarships

(Scholarship Eligibility Requirements)

Academic Year 2022 - 2023

Foundation Named Scholarships help to cover college costs such as tuition, books, technology, transportation and personal expenses.

Fall 2020 awards have been completed. Applications are being accepted now through March 15 for the Spring 2021 Semester. Pending availability of Foundation funds, Spring awards will be credited to eligible students’ accounts beginning April 2021. If you have a more immediate financial need, please submit a request for Emergency Financial Aid here.

The LaGuardia Foundation Scholarship program recognizes academic excellence of students with Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 and above.

A personal statement (minimum 200 words) is required expressing:

  • Background
  • Career Goals

The 2022-2023 LaGuardia Foundation Scholarship application is now closed and the awarding process for the current academic year is complete. If you have applied this academic year and have not been awarded, we will keep your application on file. If additional funds become available and you remain eligible (please review qualifications here: Your application will reviewed again and considered for Spring 2023 award. If you’re being considered for Spring award you will be notified by My LaGuardia towards the beginning of April 2023.
